Chia Oat Bircher
This recipe is a take on a bircher style oat and chia pudding. A light combination compared to a traditional bircher muesli. Topped with seasonal fruit, this breakfast option is best made the night before and served the next morning.
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 1/4 cups of almond milk or milk of choice
- 2 tbsp greek yoghurt
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
- 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
Place the oats, chia seeds, almond milk, yoghurt, vanilla and maple syrup in a large bowl.
Stir together until combined. Cover with plastic wrap and refridgerate overnight.
In the morning, place chia and oats in a jar and top with grated apple, raspberries and blueberries. You can layer this in a jar if desired.
