Gestured Impressions

A series of photographs that document the marks that can be made with food through painting with different forms, textures and colours.

The light was used to allow these smears, drizzles and spills to become three dimensional forms. These marks withhold a sense of energy through the gestures and movements that have been made through human presence.

These marks were made unconsciously and by chance therefore the final photographs are a surprise for both the artist and the viewer.
